St Paul's Bay, Bugibba and Qawra run together into Malta's biggest stretch of holiday accommodation: kilometres of hotels, aparthotels and rentals wrapped around a wide northern bay. Name your hotel or apartment anywhere from Xemxija around to the Qawra point and we bring the car to it, then collect from the same spot at the end. No trip to a desk, nothing to pay until the keys are in your hand.

Parking around the bay
White-line street parking is free but the promenade rows fill fast in summer. The side streets one or two blocks back from the front nearly always have space, and the walk is two minutes. Skip anything marked with yellow lines or "residents".

Closest base to the ferry
The resort belt is the handiest place on the island to stay for a Gozo day trip: Ċirkewwa is around 20 minutes up the coast road, so you can make an early ferry without an early alarm.

Day trips in every direction
Golden Bay and Għajn Tuffieħa are 15 minutes west, Mdina about 20 minutes south, and Valletta half an hour away. With unlimited km you can do all three in a weekend without thinking about it.
